American Council on Education (ACE) is the “standard reference work for recognizing learning acquired in the military”. If you were in the armed services, you may be eligible for college credit at MCC from courses and other educational opportunities that have been evaluated by ACE and summarized in their military guides. Please provide our Admissions Office with your AARTS or SMART transcript.

A dedicated Academic Advisor is available to meet with new and continuing veteran students and their dependents. This advisor can advise veteran students on their individual educational goals, program and course selections; assist in developing academic schedules; offer counsel on degree requirements and academic progress; and provide guidance on career and transfer opportunities.
