Career Counseling

You can meet with a
Career Counselor during a scheduled appointment or during walk-in hours.
Our Career Counselors are available to assist students with learning more
about themselves, understanding their career decision-making process, and
helping students integrate this information to make appropriate career
choices.
During the career
development process a Career Counselor may determine that a student would
benefit from taking a self assessment inventory. These assessments
provide important information related to career selection, career options,
and professional development. The counselor will recommend an appropriate
assessment to help the student evaluate his/her interests, abilities, and
values. A variety of assessments are available.
- Walk-in Hours: Walk-in
hours are available for students with quick career related
questions. Meetings are limited to 15 or 20 minutes and are handled
on a first come, first served basis.
- Individual
Appointments: Individual appointments are available to MCC students
who are in need of working one-on-one with our professional staff regarding
career related topics and planning. To make an appointment call 292-2248
or stop by the Career and Transfer Center
today (3-108).
