Meet the Coaches

Craig E. Chamberlain (seventh year, 119-32-5)

E-mail Coach Chamberlain

Coach Chamberlain is entering his seventh year with the MCC Tribune hockey program.  Chamberlain has guided the Tribunes to two NJCAA national runner-up finishes in the past four seasons.  The 2011 season saw Monroe reach the national championship game, and in the process Chamberlain became the first MCC hockey coach to record 100 career victories.

Chamberlain was named the 2008 Region III Coach of the year after leading MCC to a second straight Region III championship. His 2009 team tied a single-season MCC mark with 21 victories, which was equaled during the 2011 season.

Prior to MCC, Chamberlain was the boys varsity hockey and varsity girls lacrosse coach for Rush-Henrietta High School.  Along with coaching he is also a Physical Education instructor in the Rush-Henrietta Central School District. Chamberlain has a wealth of coaching and playing experience. Chamberlain played collegiate hockey for SUNY Canton (1983-1985), where he was a second team All-American, and the University of Alabama at Huntsville (1985-1986). After college he played for the Atlantic Coast Hockey League (ACHL) Carolina Thunderbirds.  Chamberlain also coaches MCC's women's lacrosse team.

Associate Head Coach

Frank Lattuca

Lattuca was a four-year varsity player at SUNY Brockport and was an All-American his senior year.  A two-time All-SUNYAC defenseman, he later went on to play for the Carolina Thunderbirds of the ACHL and the Flint Generals of the IHL.  Lattuca also played professionally in Italy and was an All-Star and an Italian National Team member.  He is regarded as one of the best skaters Rochester has ever produced.

Lattuca resides in Spencerport with his wife Theresa, daughter Nicca, and son Frankie.  He spent six years as an assistant coach at Rush-Henrietta and has been a head coach with Tri-County travel hockey for eight years.
