MCC advances to district final

PEMBERTON, NJ - Karly Tolentino (Greece, NY/Greece Odyssey) scored late in the first overtime period to lift the MCC women's soccer team to a 1-0 victory over the Community College of Rhode Island in the District G semifinals Friday.

The Tribunes will take on host Burlington County College at 1:30 p.m. Sunday.  On the line is a trip to the NJCAA Division I national tournament.

MCC (16-4-1) was on the offensive for the majority of the contest, but the game remained scoreless through regulation and most of the first overtime before Tolentino converted the winner.
