MCC women finish perfect weekend

NEW YORK - The MCC women's basketball team finished a perfect weekend by defeating Monroe College 55-51 Sunday afternoon at the Mustang Invitational.

The Lady Tribunes won all three games this weekend to move to 11-3 on the season.  MCC has won six straight overall.

Shan-tasia Padgett (Roselle, NJ/Abraham Clark) led the team in scoring for the third straight game, finishing with 15 points to go along with three rebounds, three assists, and two steals.

Ashley Castle (Brooklyn, NY/Medgar Evers) also hit double figures with 12 points.
