MCC women win 13th straight

ROCHESTER - Shan-tasia Padgett (Roselle, NJ/Abraham Clark) led three player sin double figures with 16 as the MCC Lady Tribunes defeated Erie CC 72-38 Tuesday evening.

The win was the 13th in a row for Monroe, which improved to 18-3 on the season.

Padgett also added five rebounds and five assists for the Tribunes, who forced 29 turnovers on the night.  Erie hit just 26 percent of its shots.

Ayana Bradley (Syracuse, NY/Corcoran) had another strong game with 13 points and seven rebounds.  Ivory James (Camden, NJ/Woodrow Wilson) chipped in with 11 points. 

Shaquaya Daniels (Harlem, NY/JFK) finished with nine points for Monroe.  MCC travels to Batavia Thursday evening to take on regional rival Genesee CC.
