MCC swimmers compete at Potsdam

POTSDAM, NY - The MCC men's and women's swimming and diving teams competed at the North Country Invite, hosted by SUNY Potsdam.

The Tribune women placed third, while the men took fourth against NCAA Division III opponents.

Jennifer Conklin (Pittsford, NY/Pittsford Sutherland) paced the Tribune women, placing first in the 500-yard freestyle (5:30.30) and the 1,650 free (18:46.22).  She also finished second in the 200 fly (2:22.86).

A trio of victories highlighted the men's efforts.  Taylor Stewart (Owego, NY/Owego Free) placed first in the 500 free (5:00.16).  Also winning were Connor Kilmer (Auburn, NY/Auburn) in the 100 free (50.56) and Tore Hansen (Skovkanten, Denmark/Handelsskolen) in the 1,650 free (17:32.14).
