Tribune hockey drops Hudson Valley
ROCHESTER - The MCC hockey team stayed unbeaten with an 8-1 victory over Hudson Valley CC Friday.
The Tribunes moved to 2-0 in Region III play and 6-0 overall.
Eight different players registered goals for Monroe. Chris Rinaldi (Sterling Heights, MI/Lake Shore), Daniel Turgeon (Centennial, CO/Cherokee Trail), Zach Lewis (Syracuse, NY/West Genesee), and Zach McDonald (Billings, MT/Skyview) all had one goal and one assist for Monroe.
Max Hedenbergh (Gothenburg, Sweden/Goteborgs Hogre Samskola), John Ambrose (Brewer, ME/Brewer), and Mike Boyd (Vancouver, BC/Sullivan Heights) also had one goal and one helper for MCC. TJ Reilley (Rome, NY/Rome Free) also scored.
Rick Hennard (Detroit, MI/Royal Oak) made 15 saves in goal.
