MCC wins two more golf tournaments

CORTLAND, NY - The MCC golf team finished under 300 twice en route to two more tournament victories this weekend.

The Tribunes have won all eight regional tournaments they have entered this season.

Alex McKee (Newmarket, ON/Sir William Mulock) paced the Tribunes on Friday, firing a 73 as MCC finished with a team score of 298 at Corning Country Club.  Shane Dobesh (Webster, NY/Webster Schroeder) was next with a 74.

Nate Barnard (Scottsville, NY/wheatland-Chili) fired a 75, Anthony Colosi (Rush, NY/Rush-Henrietta) had a 76, and Tim McCall (Baldwinsville, NY/C.W. Baker) a 77 for MCC.

Monroe went even lower on Sunday, shooting a 291 at Elm Tree Golf Course to win by five strokes.  McKee had another strong round, posting an even-par 70.

Barnard shot a 72, while Colosi (74), Dobesh (75), and McCall (75) rounded out the scoring.
