MCC wins Jamestown Invite

CHAUTAUQUA, NY - The MCC golf team took first place in the 2010 Jamestown CC Invitational Golf tournament over the weekend.

The Tribunes finished the two-day event with a team score of 627.  Second-place Erie had a 655.

Eric Principino (Henrietta, NY/Rush-Henrietta) was the individual medalist for MCC, finishing with a 74-76-150.  He was four shots ahead than teammate Matt DeJohn (Geneva, NY/Geneva), who was runner-up at 79-75 154.

Tyler Phillips (Williamson, NY/Williamson) was fourth overall with a 78-83-161.  Jonathan Barber (Marion, NY/Marion) and Tim Tryniski (Baldwinsville, NY/CW Baker) were tied for fifth with a 164 total.
