MCC golf caps perfect weekend

ORCHARD PARK, NY - Taylor Page (Holley, NY/Holley) medalled with a 1-under 71 as the MCC golf team placed first at Harvest Hill Golf Course in a Region III match Sunday.

The Tribunes finished with a team score of 303.  Monroe finished 27 strokes ahead of runner-up Jamestown.

Ben Finn (Gananda, NY/Gananda) had a season-best 73, and Matt DeJohn (Geneva, NY/Geneva) was right behind with a 74 for MCC.  Tim Tryniski (Baldwinsville, NY/CW Baker) fired a 77.

Other scores for MCC belonged to Eric Principino (Henrietta, NY/Rush-Henrietta) and Tyler Phillips (Williamson, NY/Williamson) with 792 and Jonathan Barber (Marion, NY/Marion) with an 84.
