MCC golfers win twice

ENDWELL, NY - The defending national champion MCC golf team began its title defense with a pair of victories over the weekend.

The Tribunes placed first at Skenandoa GOlf Club Friday with a team score of 313.  Eric Principino (Henrietta, NY/Rush-Henrietta) medaled with a 76, while Matt DeJohn (Geneva, NY/Geneva) was right behind with a 78.

Tim Tryniski (Baldwinsville, NY/CW Baker) fired a 79 and Ben Finn (Gananda, NY/Gananda) had an 80.

The Tribunes then came right back Saturday with a 301 to place first at Endwell Greens.  Finn medaled this time with a 74.

Tim McCall (Baldwinsville, NY/CW Baker) and Corey Rothfuss (Webster, NY/Webster Thomas) shot 75s while Principino had a 77.
